Creative office space available

We are delighted to announce that office space is available to rent at South Block, a stunning 50,000 Sq. Ft. creative hub in the heart of Glasgow’s Merchant City. South Block is an award-winning development that provides 96 studios for Glasgow’s creative community including:

  • 64 studios for visual artists and makers 
  • 25 offices for creative companies
  • 7 offices for social enterprises working in the cultural sector
  • Meeting rooms and project spaces available for external hire
  • Public Café
  • Beautiful reception/exhibitions and events space

Four well sized office spaces are now available on South Block’s attractive first floor. Details are as follows:

Office 101: 470 Sq. Ft. (Approx.) 
Large office, able to fit up to 7-8 desks with room for storage. South-facing natural light

Office 111: 340 Sq. Ft. (Approx.)
Sizable space, able to fit up to 4-5 desks with storage. Room has natural light.

Office 112: 230 Sq. Ft. (Approx.)
Modest-size office, able to fit up to 3-4 desks plus storage. Good south-facing natural light.

Office 120: 904 Sq. Ft. (Approx.)
Very large corner office allowing for good natural light, with built-in meeting space

South Block has a variety of options available to those looking for a temporary space within a creative hub in an unbeatable location. We can provide space suitable for meetings, screenings, lectures, workshops, exhibitions, launch events, or pop-up shops at fair rates. Unfortunately we aren’t able to host musical events.

Due to Covid-19, we are not currently taking any confirmed bookings for any meetings, workshops or events. Please do get in touch to register interest for 2021.

Project Room

The Project Room is a flexible space that can be easily adapted for private or public use. Measuring 518 sq ft, the room can comfortably fit 14 people in its boardroom layout, or can accommodate workshops, seminars, and pop-up events. The room is equipped with, a projector, cables (for Mac & PC), screen, and a flipchart easel with pens. Unfortunately this space is not suitable for wheelchair users; please see our other meeting rooms.

Gallery Space

One of the highlights of South Block is the large street-facing public space, operating as a gallery, shop and base for our on site coffee bar Project by Dear Green. Boasting a 1076 sq ft footprint, with windows nearly 18 ft wide, the space is ideal for showcasing amazing creative activity. The bright and spacious environment can be reconfigured to suit a variety of purposes and is a perfect space for more social events, including pop-up exhibitions, workshops and product launches.

Meeting Rooms

In addition to the ground floor project space, South Block also has two other meeting spaces available for hire: Room 100 (which seats 8 people) and Room 115 (which seats 6 people). These spaces are ideal for more intimate meetings where privacy is required.
